About Us Gulf Coast Audiology opened its doors in 2008 with the goal of providing unsurpassed quality and service to our patients. We do this by listening to our patients and understanding their needs and lifestyles. By doing this, we can provide the best solutions to improve their quality of life. We are privately owned and operated by Dr. Drianis Duran and her husband, Jamin Duran, who decided together that Southwest Florida needed an audiology practice whose primary focus was the patient.
Drianis Duran, Au.D. -- Dr. Duran has a Bachelor's degree in Natural Sciences (1998), a Master's degree in Audiology (2000), and received her Doctorate degree in Audiology in 2006. She has been a Licensed Audiologist in Florida since 2001 serving patients from Cape Coral to Naples. Dr. Duran has also worked in the hearing aid manufacturing field teaching other audiologists and hearing aid professionals all over the country and the Caribbean on how to best program and fit hearing instruments. She also is fully bilingual in both English and Spanish. Dr. Duran holds credentials from the American Board of Audiology (Board Certified Audiologist), the American Academy of Audiology (Fellow), the Academy of Doctors of Audiology, and the Florida Academy of Audiology. She also has studied and received certification from the prestigious American Institute of Balance. Dr. Duran was born and raised in Puerto Rico, and is married to Jamin Duran. They have one daughter, Gabriella who is 6 years old.

Theresa Farabee -- Theresa is our Front Office Administrator and joined us on June 3rd. She brings 10 years of audiology experience to our practice, and will be a valuable asset in helping our patients.
